If you want to remove the orange tip from your SSG-10 please follow these instructions:
On the bottom of your SSG10 outer barrel tip, you will find a silver pin. It connects the orange tip and the outer barrel together to make sure you cannot unscrew it. Push this pin further inside with a hammer and a pin punch or a small screwdriver. Once the pin has moved inside by about 2-3mm, you can unscrew the orange tip. To do this, heat up the outer barrel and orange tip with a heat gun (don’t overdo it, there is an o-ring inside of the cap which you don’t want to melt), or by putting it into boiling water for 3 minutes. This will soften the screw glue. Now take a pipe wrench and turn the orange cap clockwise (!not counterclockwise!). It is a negative thread, so it turns in the opposite direction than usual.
